PRAISE GOD!!   I think we found it!!!  After tremendous prayer, over 50 land considerations, and tons of miles… I THINK WE FINALLY FOUND IT!!

 

Alynda and I are headed back from an adorable little town called Waverly, TN.  The property we found includes a gorgeous mini-mansion, large home, which would work perfectly as a start house for our first care family, plus room for several offices or services like classroom or therapy rooms.  Eventually, it would probably become the main welcome center and offices. 

 

Plus, there is a second home that is perfect size and placement for a ranch director.  

 

As you know, equine (horse) therapy is a big component for the Restoration Project’s ranch.  The property already has an incredible horse barn, giant enclosed arena, and yet another apartment for a livestock/barn manager.  

 

Nearly 90 acres of land that is mostly pasture, outlined in trees.  Completely fenced and cross-fenced. Several ponds. Several large barns. Currently several head of cattle. 

 

The town of Waverly is a safe, small town that seems very eager to welcome our ministry. In fact, we were already asked by another Waverly nonprofit if they could help support the girls.  Not sure why, but this place just really “feels right”!  

 

Another good aspect is the price. It was listed at $1,800,000; but realtor feels we could make our first offer at $1,500,000. With all this infrastructure already in place, it seems extremely reasonable. 

 

I realize that it is not the total 300 acres that we are shooting for. But there are several ~200 acre plots around it that are open and typically just land for sale that we could grow into for around $500,000. 

 

Bottom line… I think this is it!!  Now, we need to get our hands on the funding.  First, please take a moment to say a prayer that God opens the way for us to get it. I know that HE is in charge of this mission, but each of us have our part to play in this adventure. I really need your help!  Please share the vision with anyone and everyone. We have no idea who God will use to help make this dream of restoring these young girls a reality.
